Es un orgullo compartir que mi imagen de unos novios cruzando la icónica Gran Vía madrileña ha sido reconocida con el premio «Expert Choice» en el «In The Moment – Lifestyle Photo Contest» de Top Photo Awards.

¿»Lifestyle»? Quizás así lo etiqueten, pero seamos honestos: esta foto es el ejemplo perfecto de ese pseudoperiodismo de bodas con esencia preparada. Todo está cuidadosamente dirigido y posado para lograr capturar la vibrante energía de la capital. Al final, en la fotografía de autor, a veces hay que fabricar el instante para que surja la magia. Y si el resultado se siente así de auténtico, ¿qué más da cómo lo llamen?

«Lifestyle»? Perhaps that is how they label it, but let’s be honest: this photo is the perfect example of that kind of pseudo-spontaneous wedding pseudo-photojournalism. Everything is carefully directed and posed to capture the vibrant energy of the capital. In the end, in auteur photography, sometimes you have to fabricate the moment for the magic to emerge. And if the result feels this authentic, what does it matter what they call it?
